That chemistry is exactly what makes it cheap and weatherproof, and exactly what makes it a mediocre substrate for ink straight off the extrusion line. Reliable UV printing on corrugated plastic starts with confirming the sheet is a printable grade or has a corona- or flame-treated face built for ink bonding, not a general-purpose sheet meant for cutting and folding alone.
Once the surface is right, UV-curable ink bonds directly to the face and cures under the printer's UV lamps in the same pass — no drying time, no separate laminate layer sitting on top that can eventually lift or bubble.
